Adoption FAQ
-
We know your time is precious (ours is too). We strive to make the adoption process safe, comfortable, and efficient. We work to get to a ‘yes!’ when it comes to adoptions so if we can’t find your best fit on the first try we will continue to work with you.
Submit adoption survey (below) to let us know more about your family, lifestyle, and expectations.
We will reach out to schedule a call to have a conversation about the pet you are interested in.
A meet and greet will be scheduled so you can meet the pet.
Bring home your new pet when you are ready!

Adoption fees are:
Puppies (up to 7 months): $250
Adult Dogs: $200
Kittens (up to 7 months): $150
Adult Cats: $125
100% of adoption fees (and donations!) go right back to saving more animals as our organization is run by volunteers.

Each pet will be fully up to date on shots, spayed/neutered, started on heartworm and flea/tick medication, and microchipped before they go to their new home.
If the pet is too young for a spay/neuter, then you will either be given a voucher for a spay/neuter or we will make an appointment for you at our low cost vet clinic.
After you adopt your new pet you will receive their vet paperwork and microchip information. Your pet’s microchip will be registered to you for you automatically.

Each pet will have a 2 week adoption trial period. Anytime during this 2 week trial, we will take the pet back and refund the full adoption fee. After 2 weeks we consider the adoption final.
We take all our pets back in the case that a new pet is not meshing into your home.
We will work with the new adopter to work through early (and common) issues. It can take pets up to 3 months to fully settle into their new home. Routines can help shorten that period of time and ease the transition for the newly adopted pet and family.
Sometimes, things just don’t work out, in which case we reserve judgements and are excited to learn more about our pets to make better placements for them in the future!
