Hi, my name is Zag! I'm Zig‘s "other half". Can't you tell by the white on our faces? It's like our own special jigsaw puzzle! You may have seen her on this site because she is also looking for a home. I was born around the middle of March 2009. The people who owned my mom tossed her outside when they discovered that she was pregnant - what a heartless and cruel thing to do! Luckily for us a neighbor who loves cats took her in, cared for us when we were born, and then gave us to Animal Allies so they could find us loving “forever” homes.
At my foster home I live and play with many other cats and kittens and get along with them very well. I love to sit on people’s laps and be petted and I REALLY love to sleep with my foster mom (I even crawl under the covers with her sometimes). I am very playful… chasing strings and other toys is one of my favorite activities, and I adore wrestling with my sisters and mom. Do you have room for me in your house and your heart? I've had my shots, I've been spayed, my mom tested negative for FeLV/FIV, and I've been microchipped. All of this and all my love and abundant affection for only $110 - what a bargain!
If you are interested in adopting me, please go to our web site www.animalalliesoftexas.org and submit our online application. I am waiting oh so patiently for YOU!
* AAT Shining Stars are those dogs and cats that have been waiting the longest to find their forever homes. Maybe they are senior pets, have special needs, or just haven’t met that perfect someone yet. For whatever reason, they have been passed over time and again. The upside is that they have been in foster care long enough for us to be able to observe them in a home environment over a period of time. We know what makes them purr – or hide under the bed, what makes them wag their tails – or turn tail and run! You know what you’re getting when you adopt a Shining Star!
Added bonuses: While AAT has recently increased their adoption fees to $150 for dogs and $125 for cats, the adoption fees for Shining Stars remain the same at $125 for dogs and $110 for cats. Plus, you will receive a special gift with the adoption of a Shining Star! So when you’re looking to adopt, take a second look at our Shining Stars. You just may find an overlooked treasure!
